A wide range of programs are offered for seniors at three locations:

Adult Day Care
Adult Day Care offers structured adaptive and therapeutic recreation, education, and social programs designed to help frail or older adults with chronic illness or disabilities. The program provides on-going support and respite to caregivers of clients.

Programs and Activities
Our centers offer a variety of recreational and educational activities, including dancing, exercise, billiards, tai chi, and bingo. Join us for social dancing at the El Camino site on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Cost is $5 per person.

Special Events and Cultural Celebrations
Join us for our events and celebrations, including Chinese New Year, Senior Health Fair, Cinco de Mayo, Filipino Independence Day, Fourth of July, Latin American Independence Day, Senior Picnic, Moon Day, Columbus Day, Holiday Boutique, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

Recreation
South San Francisco's Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational opportunities and classes for older adults.
 
Transportation
Transportation is available with our two senior vans to the Magnolia Senior Center, space permitting. Round trip suggested contribution is $4. Please call (650) 829-3820 for further information. BART and Sam Trans tickets and schedules are available for those 65 and older at the Magnolia Senior Center.

Volunteer Opportunities
Senior Services welcomes individuals who would like to volunteer at our centers. Volunteers assist at our lunch programs, Saturday brunch, and Brown Bag / Second Harvest Food Distribution Programs. They also act as class instructors, receptionists, and hostesses, help prepare income taxes, work at special events, serve on our Senior Advisory Board and much more.
